Aycock adds three new offers

Houston Memorial safety Bo Aycock picked up his first scholarship offer at the beginning of April. Now, three more schools have joined the race for his services.
The 6-foot-2, 193-pounder was a first-team all-district selection as a junior. After his first offer from Army, more came from Air Force, Louisiana Tech, and Navy.

"It's good - it's great to hear from new schools," Aycock said. "I'm just waiting around and continuing to see what's out there."
Aycock recently attended a camp at Oklahoma and will head to Northwestern next week. He also may attend a camp at Missouri with friend and fellow recruit Jimmy Burge. LSU could also be another stop for the Texas defensive back.
Some schools have even talked with Aycock about another position on defense in college.
"It's pretty much safety," he said. "But, there are a few schools like Nebraska that see me transitioning to linebacker. The majority of the schools have said safety. I don't really have a preference. I just want to play somewhere."
When asked about favorites, Aycock said he didn't have anything set at this time. However, Northwestern has piqued his interest early on.
"They've been keeping up with me the most and they have a really good academic program," he said. "They're high up there, but I don't have a favorite yet at all. I'm just getting ready for next season and concentrating on that right now."
