Awrabi planning some more visits

Sam Awrabi performed well at numerous camps in the spring but wasn't getting much traction in his recruitment through the fall.
Things have picked back up and the Clovis (Calif.) Clovis East defensive end is planning some more visits before he makes his commitment.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound prospect has already visited Northern Arizona and has scheduled trips to Wyoming and San Jose State over the next couple months as he tries to figure out which situation is best for him.
"I took a visit to NAU and I loved it," Awrabi said.
"There are great opportunities and great coaches and players there. I could come be an impact player right away, it's a beautiful area and I loved talking to coach (Jerome) Souers. We had a lot in common."
Awrabi, who had 95 tackles and eight sacks in his junior season, also lists an offer from Washington State but it's not sure if that still stands now that the Cougars made a coaching change.
UCLA, USC, Arizona State, Boise State, Hawaii, Illinois and others had been involved with Awrabi but his focus has turned to Northern Arizona and his two visits to Wyoming and San Jose over the next couple months.
Awrabi could be a steal for any of those three programs since he shined at the Badger Sport 7-on-7 in Las Vegas, the Stanford NIKE Camp and other stops on the camp circuit this past off-season.
