Avrils visit puts Purdue in lead

"I visited Purdue," linebacker Cliff Avril said. "It was my first official visit."
"It's a nice school. It was real interesting. I liked the football environment. And I want to go into engineering and they're big on that."

"I have a visit to Maryland for sometime in December."
"Basically it's those two. Both offered."
"Being that I've been to Purdue, that looks pretty nice. But I'm going to wait a little while before I decide."
The 6-foot-3 and 215 pound Avril, from Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay, has led his team to a 3-1 record. Despite playing in only five games during his junior season, Avril was still an all-conference selection.
