Averill sitting with four offers

Travis Averill shined at the Los Angeles NIKE Camp and now the Anaheim (Calif.) Servite offensive guard has four offers with many more programs showing interest.
Arizona is the latest offer for Averill, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound prospect who said Auburn, Cal, Notre Dame, Oregon and Nevada have stopped by his school in recent weeks.

The Wildcats are definitely under consideration and he might take a visit to Tucson this summer.
"That was a shocker to me because we really didn't talk at all and then they offered me," Averill said. "I would consider going there because some guys from our school went there a few years ago so that would be good over there. Plus, it's close to home.
"I might get out there for a visit in the summertime."
Arizona, Boise State, Colorado and UCLA have now offered Averill, who has taken unofficial visits over the last couple months to the other three schools that have offered. No favorite has emerged yet.
"They're all good," Averill said. "I really appreciate them all. They're all great offers to have right now."
Soon, though, Averill could start focusing in more on which programs would work best for him. The plan is to probably make his decision in August prior to his senior season so some decisions will have to be made over the next couple months.
First, Averill wants to see if any other teams get involved before he starts to narrow his focus.
"I'm going to wait until August to make my decision," Averill said. "If not, I might wait even longer but I'm leaning toward when the season starts."
