Avant is evaluating everyone

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Miramar (Fla.) three-star wide receiver Sean Avant is closing in on double-digit offers.
"Marshall and UCF recently offered me," Avant said. "Those are my two most recent offers. A week before that I got Syracuse and Temple."

In addition to those four offers, Avant has also been offered by Bowling Green, Florida International, South Alabama, Wake Forest, and West Virginia.
Out of his new offers, Avant said he established a quick relationship with the staff at UCF.
"UCF came in and offered me about a week after my spring game," Avant said. "I had a good talk with the receivers coach (Sean Beckton) and my recruiting coach, Coach Mo (Allen Mogridge). I am glad that I got that offer."
The 6-foot, 175-pound wideout is planning to hit the road this week to check out one out-of-state school.
"I will take a visit on Thursday to Bowling Green," Avant said. "I will spend a couple days there."
As for other visits, they will be scheduled around other team activities when time permits.
"I want to see other schools, but it could be any time between now and January," Avant said. "I know I want to see Wake Forest and others."
At this point in the process, the South Florida product doesn't claim a leader.
"Everybody in Division I has a great football program," Avant said. "I just want to level them out and compare the schools - the different atmospheres and the coaches I can bond with for four years - and then I could give you a rating for each school."
A final decision won't come until around the end of the year at the earliest.
"I will take my official visits before I make a decision," Avant said. "It will probably be around playoff time or I could wait until Signing Day."
