Austin lands offer No. 7

La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat lineman Dominique Austin landed offer No. 7 late last week from San Jose State. The lineman is being recruited on both sides of the ball and is close to setting up his first couple of visits.
Austin, 6-4, 240 pounds is a talented pass rusher who can also play on the offensive line. He plays both ways at Amat and although we like his upside best at defensive end, his first offer this year came from Arizona as an offensive lineman.

Since then, offers have come in from San Diego State, Utah, Nevada, Colorado State, North Carolina A&T and just recently
San Jose State.
"Wake Forest is another school showing a lot of interest and I would love for Dom to take a visit there," Austin's father Byron said. "He'll be setting up trips with Utah and San Diego State pretty soon here.
"Right now, Arizona and Utah have offered as an offensive lineman and everyone else likes him for defense. Dom is hoping another Pac 10 school will look at him for defense but that's the position he really likes. As a result, I know he's really high on San Diego State right now because they like him as a defensive end."
