Austin is motivated

Tarean Austin is a quarterback prospect with a ton of upside from Tampa (Fla.) Hillsborough High School. Austin, 6-3 and 200 pounds, threw for over 1,900 yards and 17 touchdowns last season as a junior. This season, he has bigger goals in mind.
"I want to throw for over 2,000 yards and 25 plus touchdown passes," Austin said. "I want to rush for ten touchdowns. I have it a little easier with the players I have in Charles Lovett (junior wide receiver) and Terrence Mitchell (wide receiver). I put the ball in their hands. I'll I can say is 'wow' with what they can do with the ball. I have high expectations of us this year."

Austin has ten offers from schools like South Florida, Central Florida, Duke, Wake Forest, Purdue, Richmond, Iowa State, and FIU. Austin claims he's open and wants to see what how things go over the coming weeks.
"Right now I don't have a leader. Things are going well. Ten schools have offered and teams like Michigan and North Carolina are recruiting me hard. My favorite school growing up was Miami and they are not recruiting me. So that makes me work harder."
Austin took in a junior day at USF. He is supposed to go see Central Florida.
"South Florida was good. I learned a lot about the school. I like their coaches and they seem to have a good connection with their players."
