Austin idle for now

Tarean Austin is a big and strong quarterback prospect from Tampa (Fla.) Hillsborough High School. Austin, 6-2 and 205 pounds, threw for over 1,700 yards and 19 scores last season as a junior. He has offers and right now is taking his time.
"I don't even know how many I have," Austin said. "It's something like 20 scholarship offers. Teams like Florida International, Iowa State, Wake Forest, Purdue, Richmond, South Florida, and Central Florida have offered me."

Austin has been working out with the team and practicing. They compete in 7-on-7s every Wednesday at Tampa Jesuit. This weekend he plans on attending a FIU camp at nearby Largo High School.
"We are looking pretty good right now and I really think we have a chance to score a bunch of points this fall."
Speaking of the fall, most quarterbacks make their commitments before the season. What will Austin do?
"I don't really have any favorites or a top five. I would love to get a top five. Right now I am working hard at trying to figure it out. I would like to make a decision after the season. We'll see how the season goes. I want to put myself in a good position. I would like to narrow things down before the season starts."
