Austin has several early offers

Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall cornerback Dionte Austin is a big-time athlete with several early offers. This off-season the athletic sophomore is working hard to add size and muscle to his frame.
At 5-foot-11 and around 150-pounds Austin has a long way to go, but the fact that he already has offers from Boston College, UConn, Illinois, Toledo, Youngstown State and Robert Morris in spite of his size is a sign of how much potential coaches believe he has.

Coaches from Penn State, Iowa and Marshall visited the Maryland sophomore this spring so there are even more potential offers on the horizon.
Austin visited Ohio State last year for a camp and the Buckeyes stood out to him in a big way.
"They took us on a tour around the school and I talked to the DB coach while we were on the field working out," he said. "I really like Ohio State, just their facilities and what they bring to the table with their coaching staff."
Austin's first offer came from Youngstown State and he has been doing research on all of the schools that have offered. He did not expect to blow up like he has this early.
"I knew I was a good athlete but it's been a little more than I expected," he admitted.
This summer Austin will go on a tour of schools, including most of those that have offered, and he will attend several camps as well.
