Austin has big game on Friday night
Tarean Austin is a quarterback prospect from Tampa that starting to find his groove for Hillsborough High School. Austin, 6-2 and 205 pounds, had a big game this past weekend, throwing for 298 yards and three scores and rushing for two more touchdowns in a big win over Tampa Alonso.
"That was a big win for us," Austin said. "I got into a really good rhythm and we beat a good football team. I hit those first two passes and the rest was pretty good."

Austin is referring to his first two throws of the night, both touchdown passes to junior wide receiver Charles Lovett. It was 14-0 before you knew it.
"That really got me going."
In terms of recruiting everything is still pretty quiet for Austin. But that should soon change because he finally got things squared away with the NCAA Clearinghouse.
"Now I can set up my official visits. Right now I am really considering Iowa State and Townson. I also like Florida International and UCF. I have been to both of those schools in the spring."
