THE LATEST: Augustus has scheduled an official visit to Nebraska for the September 11 weekend, and he is not shy about the Cornhuskers being his No. 1 school right now. He is also in the process of scheduling an official visit to Arizona State, and Mississippi State, Texas Tech, and Florida State are three other programs he would like to talk to about taking a visit. His most recent offer arrived from Georgia, and he promised his mother he would not make a decision until Signing Day.
IN HIS WORDS: "The Cornhusker program I really like it. New head coach Mike Riley he seems like he can get the job done, and Lincoln, Neb., just feels like it would be a great fit for me because they're a defensive program and a defensive school. The new coaches they have are great and me and coach Trent Bray are talking a lot. They talk like they really want me to come to them and they'd treat me like family."
ANALYST TAKE: The Nebraska Cornhuskers are the leaders in his recruiting process, and coiach Trent Bray has already established a strong bond. He may not have plans to make a decision before Signing Day, but Nebraska could make it too hard to leave uncommitted after his September official visit.
