Auburn offer impresses 2023 QB Raheim Jeter
THE LATEST
The month of June has been a fruitful one for South Carolina quarterback Raheim Jeter, who continues to pick up major offers despite not yet playing his first high school football game. Just this month alone, Jeter has been offered by Auburn, South Carolina and Georgia, with more offers likely coming his way. After he camped and picked up the offer from the Tigers, Rivals.com caught up Jeter to talk about the experience and how it will impact his recruitment as things move along.
IN HIS WORDS
"After a great day of camp coach Williams pulled me and said they wanted me to come upstairs to meet with them. After meeting with coach Williams, Coach Dillingham and I went into the offensive meeting room where he gave me the great news that they were going to offer me. My reaction was total excitement. I couldn’t believe it. My favorite player in the NFL went to Auburn so for me to receive an offer from them was very mind-blowing but also humbling and motivating."
Cam Newton: "As a kid I’ve always looked up to Cam Newton. Just the way Cam plays and how energetic he is has always made me a huge fan."
Camp Experience: "The camp was great! All of the coaches were hands on and pushing us to get better. I enjoyed working with coach Dillingham and coach Malzahn a lot. They were both on me about everything that I could improve on. Coach Malzahn was even high-fiving me as I made good plays. They told me they loved my attitude and effort and how willing I was to learn from them.
Impressions of campus: "The campus was beautiful and the indoor was definitely state of the art. Can’t wait to go back. I’ll definitely be coming back for a few games this year."
