Auburn, Louisville lead for WR/DB

Three schools top the list for Chickamagua (Ga.) Gordon Lee wide receiver/defensive back Dustin Afman as he prepares to begin his senior season.
“I’m getting the most attention from Auburn, Louisville and Kentucky,” he said. “I don’t have any offers yet, but things sound pretty good with those three. Auburn and Louisville said they were going to come watch one of my games early this season.”

Afman (6-2, 180, 4.55) is also receiving attention from Alabama, Georgia and UT-Chattanooga, among others.
Any favorites at this point?
“Auburn and Louisville are my top two right now,” he said. “I’m wanting to go to a place where they’re committed to winning and where they have a players’ coach – someone like Tommy Tuberville. He’s real personable and active with his players.
“I like Louisville’s coach, too. He used to be at Auburn. I haven’t had a chance to meet him face-to-face yet, but I’m looking forward to getting a chance to do that.”
As a junior, Afman was an All-North Georgia selection after catching 68 passes for 1,105 yards and nine touchdowns. He also had nine interceptions on defense. Academically, he maintains a 3.3 GPA and has scored a 940 on the SAT.
He opens his senior season on Friday against Dade County.
