Auburn looking at Atlanta DE

Atlanta (Ga.) Martin Luther King defensive end Patrick Hampton has seen his stock rise with an outstanding senior season. Next weekend, he will take an official visit to an SEC West power and believes that a scholarship offer is possible.
"Coach Terry Price from Auburn came by to see me this week," Hampton said. "He told me that they are waiting on another defensive end to see if they get him and if they don't, then it's possible that I could get a scholarship offer from them."

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder has an official visit scheduled for Auburn this coming weekend.
Hampton was scheduled to visit South Florida this past weekend, but his visit was rescheduled for the weekend of Feb. 2.
He previously visited Purdue and has the Boilermakers currently in the lead among the teams that have offered him.
A skilled pass rusher, Hampton could play outside linebacker or defensive end at the college level.
Hampton is a two-star rated prospect by Rivals.com.
