Auburn Has Slight Lead For QB

Trussville (AL) Hewitt-Trussville quarterback Brandon Cox doesn’t’ have any official visits set up, but he has an idea of which schools he’d like to see.
“I know I’ll visit Auburn, LSU and NC State,” the 6-foot-3, 190-pound pro-style quarterback said. “I have offers from all three as well as Vanderbilt, UAB and Duke. I’m not sure what other schools I’ll look at.”

Cox, who threw for more than 2,600 yards last season with 24 touchdowns, has already been to Auburn for a seven-on-seven camp this summer. He lists the Tigers as his favorites – but which Tigers.
“I guess Auburn is my slight leader, but I really like LSU as well,” he said. “I’ve seen Auburn so they have the advantage.”
Cox runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds and will make his decision in December or January.
