Auburn, GT in picture for 2015 GA DT

Class of 2015 Buford (Ga.) defensive tackle Quay Picou already has offers from Ole Miss and Georgia Tech but if recent interest is any indication his offer list could be adding some pretty impressive schools soon.
"I'm keeping my options open but I'm talking to a lot of schools right now that are interested," Picou said. "Auburn is showing me a lot of interest, so it Auburn, Georgia and Nebraska is a school sending me a ton of mail."

With the Tigers in the national championship game this year, it's clear they're a school that Picou is interested in.
"They're just basically letting me know that Auburn is watching you," Picou said of his conversations with the staff. "I met Coach Garner and honestly Auburn is really nice and what they're doing on the field is surprising. I'm just seeing what happens. If Auburn comes my way I'd be more than happy to jump on that team."
Picou's most recent unofficial visit was to nearby Georgia Tech for the Yellow Jackets game against Georgia. He said the idea of playing close to home is something that he finds appealing.
"I think that's great," he said of staying in the Atlanta area. "I was born and basically raised here and I love Atlanta. There's lot of things in Atlanta. Atlanta is my homeland so I wouldn't be surprised if I keep that one in mind because I wouldn't mind playing right here."
As far as the one offer he's really hoping to add, it's from a school that is coming off one of the worst seasons in recent memory.
"One offer I'd like to get is from Florida," he said. "I like Florida. They're struggling but I believe in those guys. At the beginning of the year they had the best defense in the country but that's before the injuries happened. They'll be back."
Picou and Buford take on Washington County in the Class 3A State Championship Game this weekend.
