Auburn commit in Showcase Spotlight

Rivals.com has teamed up with All Star Video Sports for a new weekly feature on the top recruits and the top high school teams in the Kansas City area.
Every week, AllStarVideoSports.com will release the week's show, hosted by Nick McCabe of Sports Radio 810 WHB and Rivals.com national recruiting editor Jeremy Crabtree.
This week's episode focuses on Park Hill, Mo., punter Steven Clark. The nation's No. 25 kicker is already committed to Auburn and is the top special teams' weapon in Kansas City. Clark ranks among the nation's elite with not just one but multiple scholarship offers from BCS programs.
Crabtree talks about how rare it is for a special teams performer to earn a scholarship, let alone a scholarship from an SEC power.
Continuing on the Missouri side, the episode also features a look at Kansas City University Academy stars Darrenn White and Auston LaBlance. White is a three-star athlete that is committed to Wyoming, and LaBlance is getting some major looks from regional programs after a stellar start. Crabtree breaks down White's game, and why he has the skill set to succeed for the Cowboys.
The Spotlight also introduces two new features - a where are they now look at former Kansas City stars and a breakdown on one of the region's top teams.
This week's flashback segment is on former Overland Park (Kan.) St. Thomas Aquinas stars Brian Smith and Drake Dunsmore. Smith has gone on to stardom at Notre Dame and Dunsmore has become one of the better tight ends in the Big Ten.
Crabtree also breaks down Mark Mangino's recruiting efforts so far this season, including a look at newly minted four-star prospect Geneo Grissom.
