Attention grows for KC WR

Liberty, Mo., wide receiver Marcus Lucas is one of the top wide receivers in the nation. His skills are being noticed by schools across the country and the Rivals250 to watch receiver for the 2010 class has seen his list of scholarship offers jump in recent weeks.
"Everything is going pretty good," the 6-foot-4, 175-pound Lucas said. "There are a lot of schools I have been hearing from. I have scholarship offers from Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, UCLA, Stanford and K-State."

Despite the increase in offers, Lucas says no school is his favorite.
"Right now, I don't have a favorite. I've always liked Mizzou. My mom went to school there. I'm not leaning there or anything, though."
Two schools have been fortunate enough to host the talented prospect on junior days already this spring.
"I went to Mizzou and Oklahoma for their junior days. They went really good. I got to meet the coaches. I'm going to go to Nebraska's spring game. We'll see what else comes up. As for making a decision, I'm kind of thinking by the end of the summer, but I'm not 100 percent sure on that. I'm not going to rush it just to get a decision."
As a junior, Lucas had over 1,200 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns.
