Attention finding sleeper Waters

The senior season for Buda (Texas) Hays running back Amadeus Waters may be over, but in the process he watched his stock rise with every one of the 33 touchdowns that he scored.
Waters has emerged as a top running back in the state of Texas even though his recruiting process has not been big as of yet. Now that the playoffs are over for the Hays star, he can turn his attention to recruitment which looks to be heating up.

"SMU, Houston, Michigan State, Colorado, and a lot of others have been calling about me," Waters said. "There are no offers right now, but UTEP and Stephen F. Austin have said they're going to be sending one."
While Waters looks to have his first two written offers on the table, he is now shifting things to his visits.
"I want to set up my visits after the season," Waters said. "I'll probably be going to Michigan State and UTEP for sure."
While Waters was already going to decide later in the season, he is disappointed to get knocked out of the playoffs by even a quality team like Lufkin.
"That's a team ranked really high, so we don't feel that bad about it, but you work really hard over the year and want to do well," Waters said. "I did well this season though because I had nearly 1,600 yards. It was a good way to go out I'd say."
