Attention explodes for QB White

Brady White's team is averaging about 56 points per game, he's putting up tremendous numbers and his recruitment has taken off in recent weeks.
It's hard to believe that San Jose State is still the lone offer for the 2015 quarterback from Newhall (Calif.) Hart but many others could be close with some of the nation's top teams reaching out.

"We've had a few big games," White said. "(Friday) night we took care of them pretty well so I only played a quarter and a half but still threw four touchdowns and nearly 300 yards. It was still a good game but not like the ones before.
"We're obviously a spread offense but this year we kind of are going a little more up-tempo and no-huddle. Our coach is allowing me to have a little more control over the offense and allowing me to check and all that good stuff. I'm very appreciative of that. He's also calling a lot more pass plays which I love because I love to air it out. I'm sure our receivers love it too. We have a great receiving corps so it's been fun."
Major programs are getting involved with White, an early four-star by Rivals.com in the 2015 rankings. Alabama, Mississippi State, Miami, Washington State, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Tennessee and Notre Dame are some that have reached out.
"I'm getting a lot more attention, a lot more mail," White said. "It's been going well and it's been picking up a lot.
"I'm really looking forward to the rest of it because I've been hearing good things from all the staffs. I just have to focus each and every week and take care of things on the field. Hopefully that will set me up with more schools.
"All these schools are saying they like to take their time. They're waiting for junior film. They've all seen me at camps and said they'd love to have me. They're telling me offers will start coming once they see junior film."
