Attention continues for Texas CB

Longview, Texas cornerback Corderra Hunter continues to attract attention from schools as his season rolls on despite a small injury.
“Corderra is up getting his ankle treated today,” the 6-foot-2, 170-pound Hunter’s grandmother said. “He rolled his ankle a little bit yesterday, but he is fine. The coach just wanted him to come in for a while and get it treated. He is not going to miss any game time.”

The phone keeps ringing all the time for the talented three-star cornerback.
“He gets calls all the time,” she said. “There are several calls everyday and even more on the weekends. And the mailbox is packed everyday.”
Hunter has already visited Texas Tech and still has a trip planned to Oklahoma for the third weekend of December.
“I know Texas Tech showed him a good time. They called today already. Several others like Oklahoma, Kansas and Kansas State have called recently, too. He's looking forward to his visit to Oklahoma in December. I think he is trying to take his time. He wants to find the best place he can go to. I don’t think he’ll jump at a decision, though. He’ll think it through.”
