Atlanta WR is a hidden gem

Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass is always one of the top producing schools in the Peach State every year. This year the Astros don't have quite the number of prospects that they've had in past years, but they may have one of the top sleepers around in wide receiver Terrence Jones.
"Right now I don't have any offers, but I am getting a lot of interest from Clemson, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Florida, Tulane, Kentucky, Maryland, LSU, Marshall, Oklahoma and Tennessee," Jones said. "Most schools are have said that they want to see me play in a couple of games this year before they offer."

The 6-foot-2, 183-pound Jones attended the NIKE camp in Athens where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds and he also ran the shuttle in 4.12 seconds.
"Right now my top three would be Mississippi State, Clemson and Alabama," Jones said. "Coach Randolph from Alabama came to watch my spring game and they have been showing a lot of interest for a long time. He called me in May and they have been writing me a lot the whole time. Clemson is also showing a lot of interest and they liked to throw the ball around some. I like Mississippi State because of coach Holliday, he's a real cool guy."
As a junior Jones played behind two Division I wide receivers, but still managed to catch 16 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns.
"I'm real physical," Jones said. "I think the thing I do the best is block, I don't shy away from contact, I love to hit. I have the ability to stretch the field and I can make the big play. I've got good size and good speed."
The only camp that Jones attended over the summer was the NIKE camp in Athens as he did not have the means to travel to camps far away.
"I'm looking for a good program that is on the way up," Jones said. "I don't want to go too far away from home or anything like that. I want to make sure that I fit in well with the environment at whatever school I go to."
