The Peach State is always chock full of linebackers and this year the crop may be considered somewhat down from last year, but the likes of Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake star Morrice Richardson certainly help make this crop a solid group.
"I have offers from Baylor, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Oklahoma in writing," Richardson said. "Michigan has come by and called me already and the coach recruiting me for them told me that there was a huge chance I would be getting an offer from them soon."
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Richardson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds, has a 315-pound bench press and 410-pound squat.

"I am waiting on offers from Clemson, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia because they have all been by and are recruiting me really hard," Richardson said. "Florida State, Alabama and Purdue all came by on Monday and Michigan, Oklahoma, Georgia, Ole Miss, USC, Mississippi State, Clemson, Arkansas and Baylor all came by last week."
A starter since the ninth grade, Richardson tallied approximately 85 tackles and six sacks as a junior.
"I am real open right now, I don't really think I can say that I have any favorites," Richardson said. "I want to take time with this whole thing. I will definitely take all five of my visits. I figure if I get them, I might as well take them all."
He will attend the NIKE camp in Athens this weekend at the University of Georgia on Saturday.
"I am looking at early playing time, location, education and how comfortable I feel at the school and around the program."
