Atlanta ATH makes college choice

Atlanta (Ga.) Booker T. Washington athlete Isaiah Gay will be sticking close to home for his college career.
“I’ve committed to UT-Chattanooga,” he said. “They were my choice because they were really the main school who was willing to give me a shot at running back. The others wanted me as a cornerback.

“I also liked it when I was there on my visit. They have a nice campus and some good coaches and players that I could relate to. It’s close to home, too.”
Gay (5-10, 170, 4.4) was also considering Western Michigan, Rhode Island and Alabama A&M.
As a senior, he rushed for 915 yards and seven touchdowns.
