Athletic QB has several early offers

There are a lot of offers to go around at Seffner (Fla.) Armwood High School. Four-star prospects Ryne Giddens and Petey Smith both have bundles of offers and safety Angelo Hadley has a few of his own. Athlete prospect Mywan Jackson has now managed to compile a nice list of offers in his own right
Already with offers from North Carolina, South Florida and UCF, the high school quarterback can now add four more to his list.

"The latest schools that I picked up offers from were South Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Iowa and Iowa State," Jackson said. "They're all written offers. Most schools are recruiting me as an athlete."
Though he plays quarterback at Armwood, Jackson could be used in a number of different ways on the next level. However, he will miss his time under center.
"I really don't have a preference," he said. "If they need me at receiver I'd be fine with that. I think I'll be quarterback this fall. I like that I get the ball every play and I can make plays for my teammates and myself."
In the offseason, Jackson has been working with his teammates and working on his individual game so that he will be ready come Fall.
"I've been working out," he said on Tuesday afternoon. "We just finished 7 on 7 practice right now. I've been running track too. I've been working on my lower body strength and my upper body strength so it can carry me out the whole season."
Armwood begins its Spring Practice on May 1 and following that, Jackson hopes to get to a few summer camps on college campuses.
"I think we're going to take camps to Auburn and I think the Florida Camp," he said.
While no schools stand out to Jackson at this point, there is one school he would love to see come with an offer.
"I really hope to get an offer from Florida State," he said. "I wouldn't mind playing in Tallahassee, the kind of environment it is and how they're a winning program the last 10 years."
