Athletes list sits at seven for now

Athlete Billy Pittman's scholarship offer list has not changed from the previous list of seven schools. He is truly an athlete, as some colleges want him to play quarterback and others want him defensive back.
"He has offers from TCU, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Baylor, SMU and Northwestern," Mrs. Pittman said. "Texas and Texas A&M are recruiting him as a defensive back. I don't know if they've offered yet."

The star player from Cameron (Texas) Yoe keeps track of his own thoughts and notes.
"He has been keeping things written down in case a call comes in while he's not available," his mother said. "He has no favorite and is keeping everything wide open at this time. Nebraska has both visited his school and called, so we know they are very interested in Billy."
Pittman, a four-year varsity starter, can project at a number of different positions, including quarterback, cornerback or receiver.
As a junior he completed 53 of 115 attempts for 693 yards scoring seven touchdowns while throwing six interceptions. He rushed 149 times for 898 yards scoring 12 touchdowns last season. He made first-team all-district and he shared most valuable player with another player in his district last season.
His career statistics are 121 completions of 288 attempts for 1,817 yards scoring 15 touchdowns while throwing nine interceptions and 392 carries for 2,270 yards scoring 24 touchdowns. Those figures are all while playing quarterback.
