Athlete talking to Big 12 teams

Bryan, Texas athlete Cedric Washington has changed positions for his senior season. The change has resulted in one school recruiting him for that spot.
"I played wide receiver last year," Washington said. "I did good there last year. This year we needed a quarterback and Coach asked me if I'd switch. If that's what the team needed from me then that's what I'll do."

So far the results have been positive. "I have thrown and run for over 1,000 yards on the year already. By switching to play quarterback, Baylor has been recruiting me. I like playing quarterback. We'll just have to see what is the best for me."
The other schools recruiting Washington are Texas A&M, Arkansas, Houston and Oklahoma. "I have scholarship offers from Baylor and A&M. The Aggies are recruiting me for wide receiver. Right now I'd say that Baylor is my leader."
Washington had a chance to go watch Baylor and Texas A&M play this weekend. "The game was a close one. I had a good time at the game. I got to see the teams at the top of my list play head to head."
"Texas A&M is close to home. I've always known about them. I definitely want to take a look at a couple other schools before making a decision."
