Athlete prospect is a winner

There are players who have the knack for winning. These guys seem to find a way to help their team’s win. One player that definitely knows how to get W’s is athlete prospect Chad Bozzo (5-11, 205, 4.5) from Salinas (Calif.) Palma.
Bozzo plays quarterback, safety and corner for Palma but he projects on the next level as a safety.

“Chad makes things happen,” Palma head coach Jeff Carazzo said. “He is our go to guy.”
Bozzo is a very cool customer in the heat of battle and a tremendous leader who led Palma the CCS Division I championship in 2003.
Palma’s opponent in the championship game, Mountain View (Calif.) Saint Francis, had the lead with very little time left on the clock.
With time running out Bozzo promptly completed a 75 yard pass and followed that play up with a five yard touchdown run giving Palma a 17-13 lead that ended up being the final score.
Bozzo was his league’s Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for close to 900 yards and rushing for over 700 yards, while accounting for 17 total touchdowns.
Bozzo is not your typical high school quarterback.
“Pound for pound,” Carazzo said. “Chad is the strongest man on the team.”
Bozzo benches 270, cleans 285 and squats 400.
“We think that Chad is on of the best players in the section,” Carazzo said.
Accordig to coach Carazzo, Bozzo has received early recruiting attention from Wyoming, Fresno State, Oregon and Cal.
Bozzo is one to put on your ones to watch list for 2004.
