Athlete gets a handful of more offers

Quarterback Marcus Johnson from Abilene, Texas has added five more schools to his offer list and that brings the list six major programs.
The 6-foot-0, 175 pound athlete received his first offer from Texas Tech, but he now has gotten offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Missouri and Arkansas.

He estimated that he was hearing from about 60 schools in all, which is up 10 from the previous estimate.
Oklahoma has become the leader in recruiting with the most mail, but he has no clear leader yet.
"There still is no favorite, as I'm open to all offers. I can't choose a leader at this time on the information that I have and I'm willing to listen to whatever offer a school is willing to make at this time."
Johnson made an unofficial visit to Texas on Mar. 30: "It was fantastic. The facilities and being with the players was the best part of the visit. I had no dislikes about the visit."
He has added Oklahoma camp to the list of planned camps for this summer.
He is now leaning toward education or coaching as a major for college.
