Athlete back from Utah visit

Walter Jones took his official visit to Utah this past weekend, saw a wild finish in one of the nation's biggest rivalries and came away thinking he could end up committing to the Utes.
But before any decisions are made, the Redlands, Calif., athlete wants to see if some other Pac-12 schools get involved, he might want to take some other official trips and doesn't want to rush anything just yet.

"The visit was great," Jones said. "That's the best finish to a game I've ever seen. It was live, the student section was great and they showed me all the new facilities they're getting this year so it was cool. I liked it.
"I knew it was a big rivalry. I could tell there is a lot of hatred between the two schools so it was a good game."
The 6-foot-1, 173-pound athlete said he wants to see whether UCLA, Washington or Boise State offer in the coming weeks.
Those three programs have been showing lots of interest so Jones does not want to make his commitment yet.
Depending on what happens with those three programs could determine his upcoming official visit schedule.
If any of them offer then he could take a trip there. If not, he's still looking to visit Oregon State and Washington State before ending his recruitment. Taking more trips seems important to the Redlands standout.
"I do want to take more visits," Jones said. "I really like Utah but there are some other schools I really like, too. It was good for me to get a feel for Utah. I'm definitely considering them.
"I'm trying to get a couple more offers but if they don't offer I'll probably make a decision on more official visits."
Nevada and Eastern Washington have also offered Jones but those seem like outside shots at this point. Arizona State has also been showing recent interest.
