ATH Williams enjoys trip to Maryland

West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial athlete Camren Williams visited Maryland over the weekend and was thoroughly impressed with what the Terrapins have to offer.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound athlete has the potential to play a variety of positions in college, though his best position may be linebacker, and has already received offers from UConn, Missouri, North Carolina, Penn State and Wake Forest.

"Maryland just offered me this weekend and Michigan told me the offer is pending," Williams explained. "They want to see me next month so I'm going to go out there and visit them, probably for a spring practice. I think the date is March 26."
Williams spoke extensively about his trip to Maryland.
"It went really well," he recalled. "Right when I walked in I saw coach (Randy) Edsall and he's the first person that greeted me. He's a very personable head coach. Not many head coaches are like that.
"I met with the outside linebackers coach, Lyndon Johnson, and that's the position they want me to play.
"I like them a lot. They've got a beautiful campus with a bowling alley and a movie theater. You don't really have to even leave the campus."
Williams is keeping his options open and has a busy schedule ahead of him.
He will attend spring games at North Carolina and Penn State, as well as spring practices at UConn, Virginia, Nebraska and Wake Forest.
