ATH Shaw close to more offers

South Carolina is the only school that has verbally offered Tevin Shaw so far but that might not be the case for too much longer.
The Piscataway, N.J., athlete recently took a trip down South so he could check out the two major programs in the Palmetto State, Clemson and South Carolina.

The Gamecocks have offered while the Tigers haven't. Nonetheless, it seems like Shaw has a good amount of interest in both schools.
"I was down there on a visit over spring break," Shaw explained. "I went to South Carolina and Clemson so I could compare how similar and different they are.
"I liked each one in different ways. At South Carolina I liked some things better and at Clemson I liked some things better. They were both good."
Shaw was supposed to visit North Carolina as well while he was down in that region but weather prevented him from stopping off in Chapel Hill.
Pittsburgh, Miami, UConn, Temple and Boston College are the other schools showing interest and hinting that they might be willing to offer down the line.
What position will the 5-foot-11, 190-pound athlete be playing in college?
"The only schools I'm sure about are Clemson and South Carolina," he explained. "Clemson likes me as a running back and South Carolina said defensive back. They said their safeties and corners are interchangeable."
Last fall Shaw rushed for 1,167 yards and 17 touchdowns while recording 59 tackles and picking off four passes on defense.
