ATH Johnson takes a pair of visits

Five offers are in for Richmond (Va.) Meadowbrook athlete Gerard Johnson. The 5-foot-8, 175-pounder has taken a couple trips and is now starting to eye camps this summer.
"I went to James Madison and Delaware over two weeks ago," he said. "They were pretty good. James Madison and Delaware were nice.

"I liked how the coaches were and the feeling up there at both schools. It felt like a family up there."
Johnson has no other visits scheduled in the immediate future, but noted plans to start heading out to camps this summer.
"A lot of schools have been telling me they want to see me at camp," he said. "I'm probably going to attend Virginia and probably Virginia Tech's. I'll probably go to schools that are close, around here."
Of note, two new schools have entered the picture.
"Pittsburgh and Temple are a couple other schools showing interest. They have really shown a lot recently."
The Richmond prospect claims no favorites though.
"I'm just staying neutral right now," he said. "I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. I'm just laying back seeing who is saying what."
