Three-star athlete Ed Imeokparia out of Blairstown (N.J.) Blair Academy holds seven offers including ones from the Big East, ACC and Big Ten. Despite that, the 6-foot-0, 188-pounder hasn't set a trip to date as he is waiting to see about more scholarships coming.
"A lot of schools are pushing for officials and then there are others who want to see film from my first two games," he said. "I'm kind of waiting on those schools to see what they do.
"I want to hear from the schools that are waiting to offer including Miami, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State. I'd like to see what happens and once I get feedback from them I think I'll be able to quickly narrow it down. If it doesn't work out, I like the options I have, but I don't want to close the door on anyone yet."
Imeokparia may have to wait until after the season for officials as he plays most of his games on Saturday.
On the field, the No. 21 prospect in New Jersey has helped his team to a 2-0 start.
"I'm playing both sides of the ball and doing well," he said. "On defense, teams aren't really passing to my side. I still get a few tackles a game. I've also been running really well on offense, but I don't know my exact stats."
