ATH Gent puts his team first

Chiefland, Fla., athlete Cortez Gent is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound pure excitement with the ball in his hands. Even though he does not have any scholarship offers at this point, Gent is pumped about getting on the field this week and blowing up once again.
“I’m pretty pumped up,” Gent said. “I was pretty good last year, but I’m a whole lot faster and stronger. I’ve worked out, and my coach has guided me in the right direction. He’s got me heading toward where I need to be when it comes to becoming an impact guy both in high school and in college.”

Gent said at this point he would love to stay in the state of Florida and listed the big-name Florida schools, along with USF, UCF as his top teams at this point.
“I want to stay home,” he said. “I live with my grandparents, and I don’t want to be too far away.”
But first things first – Gent is focused on helping his team win.
“I don’t even have personal goals,” Gent said. “I just want to win.”
