ATH Duffy takes a visit

Recently athlete Chris Duffy took one unofficial visit. The Indian Trail (N.C.) Porter Ridge prospect is continuing to wait patiently for more scholarships.
"I went to Charlotte last week, that's about it recently," he said. "It was good. I saw the layout and the helmets. Everybody was good it should be nice.

"I don't think they've offered, the head coach didn't say anything about it."
The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder holds a pair of offers from Tennessee and East Carolina.
However, other schools are in contact with the junior.
"Appalachian State and Purdue have come by," he said. "They both want me at camp and to come visit them.
"I know I'll be camping at North Carolina and South Carolina. That's all I know about right now."
According to Duffy, one factor is becoming a big factor as he evaluates schools.
"Last year I was first team AP all-state in my first year playing defense," he said. "I felt comfortable doing it, but I've played offense my whole life. I like to play slot, and that might determine where I play in college."
