ATH Duffy starting to eye visits

One offer is in for Indian Trail (N.C.) Porter Ridge athlete Chris Duffy. The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder has numerous other colleges interested as he plans to start taking some visits.
"I have an offer from Tennessee, but things are starting to grow as coaches are seeing my film," he said. "I'm hearing from Pittsburgh, Connecticut, Tennessee and North Carolina. I'm looking to attend some camps this summer too, probably South Carolina, I'm going to try to get to Virginia Tech, Clemson and maybe North Carolina."

Though he hasn't been on many trips recently, Duffy is looking at heading down to Tennessee on March 31st.
"I know I'm going down there for spring practice. They really like me as a defensive back, so I want to go and see what it's like.
"I'm looking to see how the coaching staff is, how my teammates are and the environment I'll be in for four years. I want to see how things are run."
Does Duffy like anyone?
"I like Tennessee a lot, I like South Carolina, North Carolina, Clemson and Virginia Tech," he said. "I like that those schools go out and compete and win ball games. I like what I see from them."
Duffy helped Porter Ridge to a state championship as he earned all-state defensive back after posting 22 tackles and five interceptions. He added 1,500 all-purpose yards of offense and 22 total touchdowns including one kickoff return.
"I'm fast, explosive and have got good hips and good footwork," he said. "I play in space and I'm aggressive. I like contact and competing, winning ball games."
