Warner Robbins (Ga.) Northside athlete Chansi Stuckey wanted to commit to his choice of schools in person.
"I went to Clemson yesterday and committed to coach Bowden in person," said the 6-foot, 170-pound senior who chose the Tigers over Auburn, Florida State, Tennessee and others. "Clemson was my favorite for awhile so I wanted to get it over with and tell coach Bowden in person. He was pretty excited and so was I."
Stuckey had favored the Tigers throughout the process although the other schools made it a more difficult decision than he though it would be.
"They made it tough," he said. "I liked the coaches at all the schools, but Clemson stood out for me. I know they're going to take things to the next level and I can be a big part of that."
