Summer is finally here and for most high school students that means it's time to unwind and take it easy for a while.
For Terrell Chestnut, however, the summer is probably going to be pretty busy. Don't feel too bad for him, as he will be visiting and camping at the schools that have offered him free rides.
Chestnut's scholarship list is long and impressive so it would be next to impossible to visit all of the schools that have offered. That said, he wants to make it out to as many schools as he can.
"I'm just finishing out my track season now," Chestnut said. "I haven't given too much thought to recruiting because we're seeded pretty high and have a chance to do really good. I want to make sure I'm focused on (track).
"This summer I'm definitely going to be visiting some campuses. I may do a couple of camps. I'm just going to explore different schools."
Though Chestnut isn't 100-percent sure of where he will be going he did mention Rutgers, Pitt, West Virginia and Maryland as possible visit destinations, and said he would get to "as many as (he) can."
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete from Pottstown (Pa.) Pottsgrove still plans on taking some officials in the fall. He said he would visit some of the schools he has liked for a while regardless of where they are located, while he may visit one or two schools a good ways from home that he otherwise wouldn't be able to see.
