ATH Bond plays well so far this season

Ahoskie (N.C.) Hertford County athlete LaMarcus Bond has helped his team to a 2-3 start, but Hertford has struggled recently losing the last three straight. What does the 5-foot-8, 174-pounder think of the season so far?
"The season is going great, but we lost the last three in a row because we just didn't make enough plays down the stretch. That's the real issue I think," he said. "Last week I scored twice and I'm up to about 500 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns this season. I've seen a big improvement in my speed and quickness this year and I'm also a little stronger. That has helped me a lot."

This week Hertford County plays in their first conference game at Northeastern.
Not much has changed for the three-star prospect in recruiting as he continues to receive plenty of calls from coaches.
"North Carolina State, Auburn, Michigan State, East Carolina, Virginia Tech and Virginia all have called me," he said. "They are all checking up on me to see what's going on and tell me what's up with their schools."
Bond plans to take all of his official visits after the season, but did mention the prospect of taking unofficials.
"I plan to take some this season, but I just don't know to who or where yet."
Even though the No. 9 player in North Carolina hasn't visited schools, he has watched them on television.

"Clemson has really impressed me and I didn't think they'd be winning like they are right now. I really like the defense, running backs and receivers there, they make some plays. James Davis is pretty nice too, and their winning makes me look at them a lot more."Here to view this Link.
