ATH adds Cuse offer

Jacob Morgenstern recently added another big offer. The New Canaan (Conn.) St. Luke's athlete picked up an offer from Syracuse.
"I was ecstatic," said the 6-foot-3, 210-pound Morgenstern. "The New York powerhouse was offering me and I just felt incredibly lucky and fortunate. I received a message to call coach Bullough who broke the news to be over the phone. I also spoke to coach Lee and Shafer.

"I know it has the best sports journalism school in the country," he said. "And it's in the acc playing against some of the best competition in the country. I am planning to visit the school at some point."
Morgenstern has been talking to a bunch of schools a lot lately.
"I'm in touch with Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Miami, Vanderbilt, Maryland, Connecticut, Princeton, Yale and Penn State," Morgenstern said. "Those are most of the schools I have been talking to a lot lately."
Morgenstern does not have a favorite school right now. He does like at least a few things about two schools so far.
"Other than the incredible weather, Miami is also in the ACC with great football and it is another great school," he said. "I am also in contact with a coach who went to New Rochelle which is in section one where I played at Ketcham."
Morgenstern does have three upcoming visits planned.
"I plan on visiting Boston College on the 21st and Princeton or Yale on the 28th," he said. "I want to see the campuses, the athletic facilities, the coaches, and just kind of get a feel of if I think I can see myself there for the next four years. That is going to be important."
As of now, Morgenstern's top five is Yale, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Princeton.
