At least three officials for Byrd

Just more than a week ago Damiere Byrd speculated on which schools he might be taking official visits to.
The conclusion Byrd reached was that he would use those officials to check out schools he hadn't seen before.

That meant, apparently, that the 5-foot-9, 160-pound receiver from Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek would be taking official visits to Ole Miss, Pitt, West Virginia and Iowa.
Now that Byrd has had a little more time to think things over it appears as though he is slightly amending those plans. He will go to at least two of those schools, but it appears as though he will go back to one school he has already visited.
"I don't have any more summer visits," Byrd explained on Friday. "I'll probably take officials to Iowa, Ole Miss and South Carolina."
Byrd already visited South Carolina earlier this year in January and his willingness to use one of his allotted officials on a return trip to Columbia is a sign of his interest in the SEC school.
He said he is still unsure of whether he will take all five visits.
