It's a great year for offensive linemen in the Buckeye state and Dublin (Ohio) Scioto offensive tackle Clark Crum is one of those Ohio blockers who has a number of early scholarship offers on the table.
The 6-foot-7 and 280 pound Crum, who has been a varsity starter at offensive tackle since his sophomore year, helped lead his team to a 9-3 record during his junior season.
Crum is athletic and runs well for a big guy. He also plays basketball and has a 4.0 plus GPA.
"Clark has multiple offers," coach Karl Johnson said. "I know of at least five for sure.
"Indiana, Illinois, Boston College, Cincinnati, Akron, and Miami of Ohio I know for sure have offered.
"Some other schools heavily recruiting him are Duke and Northwestern. And he's very much interested in Ohio State and Michigan.
"He visited Wisconsin and Northwestern this past weekend. And he's going to Ohio State's camp."
