ASU scores large

The ASU Sun Devils landed one of the best prospects on the west coast in cornerback/wide receiver Chad Green (6-0, 175, 4.4) from Lake Balboa (Calif.) Birmingham. Green and his teammate Dennis Keyes led Birmingham to the Los Angeles City Section Championship.
Green visited Oregon State way back on September 20th, Washington on December 20th, Oregon on January 10th, to ASU on January 17th and to LSU on January 24th.

Green had great times on all of his trips and there was something positive on everyone.
Green is considered one of the best cornerback prospects in Southern California, but his play as a wide receiver this season has opened up the eyes of college scouts.
Green has the school record with a 103 yard interception return for a touchdown in the quarter-final game against Los Angeles (Calif.) Fairfax.
“I knew I could at least get out to the 20 so I decided to go for it,” Green said about his record setting interception at the time. “I just started to run and I went untouched for the touchdown.”
ASU win a heated recruiting battle LSU, Oregon, Washington, UCLA, Cal, Oregon State, Nebraska, Arizona and Washington State all schools tendered offers.
Green told Rivals Brett Solesky earlier this evening, “I just felt the most comfortable with ASU and their coaches and their surroundings. Arizona State is young and up coming they are looking very promising for competing in the Pac-10 next year and in they have great, great, great, great, team unity and they're really close as a team and very much like a family between the players and the coaches and I really like that about them."
Great get for the hard charging Sun Devils.
