ASU scores huge
The Arizona State Sun Devils went a long way in securing their future at the quarterback position when Elite 11 signal caller Michael Affleck (6-3, 225, 4.7) Provo (Utah) Timpview committed to ASU.
The Sun Devils get one of the best quarterbacks west of the Mississippi.

It basically came down to two schools, ASU and USC.
“I went with my gut,” Affleck said. “I love USC a lot and obviously ASU.”
“The coaching staff at USC is great and I’m good friends with offensive coordinator Norm Chow but that wasn’t enough.”
“ASU really wanted me they recruited me the hardest, sent me Fed Ex packages, letters and stuff like that,” Affleck said. “USC kind of dragged their feet and didn’t offer until recently.”
“On my trip to ASU they treated me great and I love the Sun Devil offense. They throw the ball.”
The Sun Devils get a proven winner who is currently leading his Timpview team to a perfect 8-0 record on the season while throwing for over 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns. Affleck is hitting on 64% of passes thus far his senior season.
“I’m relieved that the recruiting process is over,” Affleck said. “I did like talking to all the coaches from all the different schools.”
