ASU offers Washington athlete

Cedric Dozier is an outstanding athlete and he showed off his skills at the recent Badger Sports Elite 7-on-7 in Las Vegas and now more programs are starting to get involved in his recruitment.
His latest offer came from Arizona State and the Lakewood (Wash.) Lakes athlete also has Cal and Washington on his list.

While Dozier doesn't know much about the Sun Devils yet he said he'll look into the program and see exactly what they offer. If he cannot visit this summer an official visit could happen.
"They're recruiting me as an athlete and later on we'll see where they really want me to play or where I decide to play," Dozier said. "I don't know much about them. I'm very eager to learn about that program.
"I may be able to catch them this summer at an individual camp but other than that if I don't go this summer I'm definitely going to go there on an official visit."
Other than those three Pac-10 programs, Dozier is not hearing from many schools so he plans to wait things out in his recruitment. Washington was his first offer, followed by Cal and now Arizona State.
He'll be at the Eugene NIKE Camp, is considering a trip to Oregon State's camp and wants to make the rounds this summer to show off his skills. His Lakes team is also attending a team camp at Central Washington.
Dozier plays quarterback in high school and finished with 1,181 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions last season and also rushed for 1,223 yards and 17 scores. In college, he'll probably switch to play either wide receiver or defensive back.
"I'm still going to wait it out and I'm not going to commit anytime soon," Dozier said.
"At least I don't see myself committing anytime soon. It's just to get as many options as I can and then at the end evaluate everyone and see how I like the teams and bond with the coaches and then make my decision. There's no leader. I'm keeping everything open."
