ASU offers 2017 R250 WR Black

Prospects in the northeast often have a hard time getting the attention they deserve. Tarik Black doesn't have that problem. The 2017 Rivals250 wide receiver from Cheshire (Conn.) Cheshire Academy has offers from all over the country and he added a PAC-12 offer the other day.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Black takes a lot of visits but slowed his pace during the season. Now that his season is over he is getting back on the road. This weekend he is making the short trip to see the Notre Dame play Boston College. Black is also going to visit Michigan for the Ohio State game.
IN HIS WORDS: "I don't know too much about Arizona State," Black said. "I know they play in the PAC-12 and play a pretty good schedule. They like to toss the rock and just had Jaelen Strong get drafted. That's pretty much what I know. Their football team seems to have a good program.
"I've been talking to coach Cristobal at Alabama, coach Lupoi from Alabama, Mark Pantoni at Ohio State, coach Hinton at Ohio State, coach Burden at Virginia Tech, coach Leonard at Boston College, and coach Samuel at Michigan State," he said. "There are a bunch more. Right now I don't have a leader or a top five really. I'll start thinking about that soon."
RIVALS' REACTION: The spotlight hasn't really been on Black since the offseason where he tore up a few big time camps. He wants to go to a big time, winning program with a good history of developing quality wide receivers. Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, and a few others are very intriguing to him but there is still a lot of time before he announces a commitment.
