ASU Lands JC Linebacker

Dale Robinson, a 6-1, 225 pound linebacker from Glendale JC (Ariz.) tripped to Arizona State this past weekend and committed on the visit.
"Chris (McKenzie) was my host and he's a good friend of mine," Robinson said. "We're both from New York and I've known him for awhile. Chris actually had to leave and go back home, so on Saturday R.J Oliver hosted me. I'm real comfortable with the area and the coaches have been recruiting me for a long time.

“I also like that ASU is changing from a 4-2-5 to a 4-3 defense. They need linebackers and I think I’ll have a chance to come in and play early because they don’t have a lot of linebackers on the roster. It was just a good overall fit for me and I’m excited to be a Sun Devil.”
Robinson was also looking at Temple, Colorado State and Washington State and all have offered. The linebacker was a 1st team All-Area selection this past season and will have four years to play three at ASU. He’ll sign in February and will enroll in the fall.”
