Asiasi praises USC after visit

Devin Asiasi has liked USC for some time and after this weekend's visit the Trojans are definitely one of the favorites in his recruitment.
The 2016 four-star tight end from Concord (Calif.) De La Salle spent time with the USC coaches, saw the Trojans' big win over Notre Dame and said the Pac-12 school is definitely a frontrunner at this point.

"It was great," Asiasi said. "We went to the game at the Coliseum and we went to the locker room after the game and it was a really good experience.
"The coaches were talking to me about being a family at USC and that they know each other well and that really stood out to me.
"Everybody knows each other well on the field and the players are close to each other. Not only the players but the teachers know the students well and the coaches know the players well and I really like that a lot."
So far, the 6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect has been offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Illinois, San Jose State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, Washington and Washington State.
More visits could be coming up and Asiasi is hearing more in his recruitment from Alabama and LSU but he said USC has impressed him for a long time and this weekend really reinforced that the Trojans are high up on his list.
"They're one of my top schools that I'm thinking about," Asiasi said.
The four-star tight end who's rated fifth at his position by Rivals.com said UCLA and Washington are two other programs that stand out. No decision is expected for a while.
