Asiasi back from Alabama

Devin Asiasi spent the weekend at Alabama and he had a great time. The four-star tight end is not ready to commit but the Crimson Tide is definitely high on his list.
"I really loved it," Asiasi said. "My mom loved it and it was really great. I really loved it out there. It was really nice and really welcoming.

"It was everything. The people out there are really nice. The game was definitely a good experience.
"They were telling me about their situation with the tight ends and stuff that might happen after this season. Something like me going there would be perfect and it would be a great opportunity for me."
Rated as the fifth-best tight end in the 2016 class, the Concord (Calif.) De La Salle standout paid his own way for this unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa, a further sign that he's serious about Alabama.
And he plans to return.
Asiasi said he wants to get back to Alabama in December for an official trip. He is also seriously considering officials to USC and UCLA.
Even though the local schools provide serious competition to the SEC power, it looks like Alabama could have a major edge in his recruitment at this point.
"I definitely can see myself over there," Asiasi said. "I'm not saying that's a commitment but it's definitely a school where I could see myself and I could see myself succeeding over there.
"I like the opportunity and it's one of the best college football programs in the nation. It's a good opportunity for myself."
